WWE Smackdown Live Results , Reviews and Analysis .
After The Elimination Chamber , we went on to see an incredible show of WWE Smackdown . The show was much better than last night Raw owing to some fascinating decisions of Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan . Here are the results , reviews and analysis of the show :
1. The opening segment of show .
The show was started by Bray Wyatt who came to ring as the New WWE Champion and addressed the WWE Universe that he was very well aware of the fact that he will become champion one day . The path was not at all easy he said and welcomed WWE Universe to the era of Wyatt .
John Cena versus Bray Wyatt match for WWE Championship was already annouced as the night's main event and there arrived John Cena interrupting Bray Wyatt . John Cena appealed to crowd to show respect to their new WWE Champion . He then explained the meaning of all three words written on his T shirt by giving him respect as well as asking him to earn everything . John then asked people to stop chit chat and start the match right away .
Then came " The Phenomenal One " , AJ Styles who claimed he was more deserving than Cena for the Championship match . Amidst all this arrived , the leader of " YES MOVEMENT ", Daniel Bryan who first congratulated Bray for his title and later made an exciting announcement for a " Triple Threat Match " for WWE Championship Match between John Cena versus AJ Styles versus Bray Wyatt . The crowd just went on their feet cheering Daniel Bryan for his decision .
2. American Alpha versus The Ascensions .
Viktor and Chad Gable started things of with a collar and elbow tie . Viktor showed signs of frustration right from beginning . Chad Gable gave two consecutive waist lock take down to Viktor . Viktor frustrated with everything hit Jordan who entered ring followed by Connor leading to chaos in the ring . Firstly , The Ascensions dragged American Alpha out of the ring and then they received flying cross body from American Alpha .
As , we returned from the commercial , The Ascensions had dominated the match . Viktor and Connor tried for count out for multiple times but failed to capitalise . Then , we saw a comeback from Gable as he gave arm lock to Connor between the ropes and it gave the chance for a tag and Jordan came in who took all the things in their favour . But a dorche by Viktor helped ascensions make a comeback . We saw beautiful wrestling moves like superplex from Jordan and same by The Ascension but both failed to capitalise . American Alpha finished things of with their classic finisher . Right after the match , The Usos appeared on screen who challenged American Alpha for next week .
Dean was searching for Baron Corbin when he insulted Carmella and asked Ellsworth to stay away from her but Daniel again took an exciting decision announcing Dean versus Ellsworth . But the match never began . As the music of ICW Champ played , we saw Baron Corbin coming with dragging Ambrose on floor . Dean then tried to fight back but failed and received a crashing body drop in the wires . It can easily be concluded from here that WWE is preparing ICW Title match at Wrestlemania between Baron Corbin and Dean Ambrose .
4. Nikki Bella segment .
As Nikki was talking with Daniel Bryan over her rivalry with Natalya , Natalya again attacked her in front of Bryan of which Bryan grew furious and announced No Holds Barred match for next week .
5. Mickie James versus Becky Lynch .
Mickie wanted bthis match badly to prove her worth to WWE Universe . Mickie tried for a cover for an early win but Becky avoided it . Opposite to Sunday , this time we saw clear dominance of Becky trying for early count and multiple submissive moves but all in vain . We saw an amazing spring board side kick to Mickie from Lynch sending her out of ring .
Things reversed as we saw simultaneous clothesline from Becky Lynch and Mickie James . We witnessed amazing moves from both wrestlers and it seemed as if Becky was going to win again but Mickie dramatised her injury and gave a kick to Becky , thereby avenging her defeat of Sunday . All in All , it was a good match where we witnessed some amazing moves from both wrestlers .
Bray Wyatt was attacked by his former Wyatt family member Luke Harper and I think this was meant to push Bray Wyatt as new Baby Face . As , Bray lies senseless , Cena and Styles started of things and as Cena tried to finish things off was interrupted by Bray Wyatt who send Cena crashing into the steel steps and he received " Phenomenal Forearm " from AJ outside the ring and all three lied apart outside the ring .
AJ then again started things with Wyatt in ring and tried for a pin fall but failed . Bray then made a comeback with a head butt and pushed Styles out of ring . Then came in Cena who gave a Knuckle Shuffle and tried for an " AA " but Bray countered and received Phenomenal Forearm from Styles who himself got an AA from Cena and tried to count away as champion but failed .
Then the chaos continued with multiple attempts from each wrestler . We saw an amazing moment outside the ring when Styles went for double splash and broke the announcers table leaving Bray Wyatt senseless . We witnessed high drama as Styles gave Styles Clash and later was trapped in an STF from John Cena . Styles then tried for Phenomenal Forearm to Cena but Cena countered but himself received " Sister Abaigail " from Bray Wyatt . Bray goes for a pin fall and retained his title .
After the match concluded , Randy came and surrendered himself to Wyatt announcing he wouldn't fight Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania . A classy match to end things .
