WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 Results and Analysis :Part 1
Finally , the wait is over and we witnessed the Pay Per View with one of the most exciting match cards . The Pay Per View was quite entertaining and WWE allowed right and deserving people to win thereby preparing the road to WRESTLEMANIA quite exciting .
1. Mojo Rawley vs Curt Hawkins .
WHY ? WHY WWE ? Why you just set up this match . No one ever was interested in this match . But let's come to the match . A complete boring match , both of the wrestlers lack moves combined with the stupidity of Curt Hawkins running here and there at the start of match just added grace to the stupidity of the match . Mojo started off strong giving a strong clothesline to Hawkins afterwards giving a blow to his chest by driving into the apron . As Mojo was returning inside the ring , it gave Hawkins sufficient time to regroup and kicking in the chest of Rawley .
Then Hawkins tried for a count out by pushing Mojo in the ringside but Mojo somehow managed to get back into the ring . Then the match was dominated by Hawkins and we saw a big vertical suplex which was somewhat amusing in the whole match and he tried for a pin fall but failed to achieve it . Mojo Rawley later made a comeback by giving clothesline to Hawkins followed by a stinger splash . Then Hawkins gave a spiral out of nowhere but in vain then with a kick but again goes in vain .Mojo later made a comeback and hit a spinning powerslam and claims the win .
RATING : 6 out of 10 .
RESULT : Mojo Rawley beats Curt Hawkins by pinfall .
2. Becky Lynch vs Mickie James
Finally , the day arrived Becky would have been waiting for so long to avenge the defeat she suffered due to Mickie . The match started with collar and elbow tie up between the two which made them move outside the ring until they became aware of the countdown . Then Becky showed her capability as a wrestler by dominating the match for some time and finally sending Mickie out off the ring followed by a flying firearm right into the face of Mickie . Then Mickie took the advantage when Becky was returning by kicking in her chest followed by a DDT . Mickie tried attacking Becky's arm . Then the match saw complete dominance of Mickie James in which she tried various moves including big boot to the face of Becky , a hammerlock with a knee in the back and other moves . In between , Becky tried to make comeback by giving upper cuts and iron arm to Mickie but Mickie somehow managed to again dominate her by pushing her into the pole . Then , we saw some classical moves like half nelson from Mickie showing her agility and excellent capability to wrestle . Then , we saw multiple pinfall tries by both wrestlers . Becky went for a move but Mickie countered with a kick and then her finisher but countered with a back fall . Then followed two roll ups and Becky at last claimed the win putting her as new Mickie in WWE . MY PREDICTION for this went right and Becky won .
RATING : 8 out of 10 .
RESULT : Becky Lynch wins by pinfall .
3. Dolph Ziggler vs Apollo Crews and Kalisto .
Dolph attacked Kalisto even before the match started driving him in the monitors leaving him unable to compete and this reduced the match from handicap match to one on one match between Apollo Crews and Ziggler .
Apollo Crews grew furious over Dolph and move towards the ring in rage and with brute strength pushed Dolph Ziggler into the turnbuckles and tried to dominate the match but felt short in front the experience of Ziggler who countered and made a comeback in the match by giving neck breaker between the ropes . Then Ziggler showed dominance by multiple neck breakers and submissive moves and tried for pinfall but failed to gain the win . Ziggler was loved for his heel role by the crowd .
The match became somewhat boring in between but what enthralled the audience again was Kalisto returning to the ring despite not being 100 %.which gave a distraction to Ziggler and we saw a vicious kick from Crews right into the neck of Dolph . Then Apollo tagged in Kalisto who tried to his revenge on Ziggler by putting his agile moves . Then Apollo came in and gave a powerbomb and pinned Dolph Ziggler . But Dolph couldn't take up the loss and later attacked Kalisto and Apollo Crews with a chair .
RATING : 7.5 out of 10 .
RESULT : Apollo Crews pinned Dolph Ziggler .
4. Tag Team Turmoil for Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship .
The match was started by the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno vs Breezango . Breezango element was entertaining and one point Fandango even flew tickets in the middle of ring . The match was dominated by Slater and Rhyno with very less impedance from Breezango and Breezango were finally eliminated with a spear from Rhyno to Fandango. Then came The Vaude Villains who came running to the ring to eliminate Rhyno and Slater early but were received with disrespect from Rhyno to answer of which The Vaude Villains send Rhyno into the barricades and they received a cross body from Slater flying from the top of turnbuckle outside the ring . Slater then tagged himself but was attacked by both members of opponent team . Slater took some beating but was finally able to pin The Vaude Villains by giving a flying DDT .
Then entered the latest heels of Smackdown LIVE , The Usos . The Usos showed their complete dominance in the match but got some competition from Slater and Rhyno . Jey Uso gave a samoean drop to Slater and went for a pinfall but was interrupted by Rhyno who was later send out . Slater then went for a roll up but in the time didn't realise Jimmy was tagged in who gave a superkick right in his face and eliminated Rhyno and Slater . The Smacdown Live Tag Team Champions entered next and the hostility between the two was clearly visible as they entered in a feud outside the ring with American Alpha showing dominance and putting end to things by simultaneous SUPLEXES .
Gable then went with a diving cross body to Jey Uso trying for a pinfall but failed . Then , The Usos took control and showed their heel role absolutely . Gable then countered and tagged Jordan in giving American Alpha the required momentum and later Gable eliminated The Usos but what followed was just not expected . The Usos beat the hell out of Jordan and Gable and then entered The Ascensions who tried to end things early but in vain . Later , The American Alpha made a comeback and a stunning suplex to Viktor helped them retained the title . Overall , the match was quite entertaining and got cheer from the crowd .
RATING : 8.5 out of 10 .
RESULT : The American Alpha retained the title .
