Potential Wrestlers to win battle royal for #1 contender .
The last Smackdown Live show concluded with Randy Orton surrendering himself to Bray Wyatt and refusing to face him at Wrestlemania 33 for Title match . General Manager Daniel Bryan used this opportunity to set Battle Royal to determine number 1 contender for the main event of Wrestlemania . Here are the potential wrestlers who can go on to win the battle royal :
1. The Miz
The Miz is a classical heel character of WWE and has proved his worth last year by adding prestige to Inter Continental Championship ( ICW ) title . He is outstanding on mike and equally excellent in the ring . The 36 year old veteran is in his best shape of his career and WWE may give him a chance for his second run as WWE Champion , thereby using his potential to his fullest .
Having all these things in favour , his chances of holding the title are very bleak owing to the rumoured mixed tag team match against John Cena and Nikki Bella . But still if WWE thinks to give him a chance , he would not disappoint The WWE Universe .
2. John Cena
John Cena levelled the record of " Nature Boy " Rick Flair of being a 16 time WWE champion . John Cena is currently 39 years and it is almost certain that he will surpass Flair's record as champion for most number of times and doing it at the grandest stage of Wrestling will add grace to it . John Cena is in excellent shape currently and has put up excellent matches in recent past like the one in Royal Rumble against AJ Styles and the Chamber Match .
Cena is the most loyal employee of Vince and has served the company as face for nearly a decade . Vince may make his bet on Cena to main event at the grandest stage of Pro Wrestling .
3. Shinsuke Nakamura .
May be , just a may be . Looking at some unexpected bookings done by Vince MacMohan in the past , we may get a chance to see Nakamura versus Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania . It has been rumoured for weeks that Nakamura and Samoa Joe will make main roster entry very soon like some expected them in Royal Rumble match and others expected them in either Raw or Smackdown . Samoa Joe has made his main roster debut in an explosive way attacking other wrestlers but Nakamura is still being eagerly waited by WWE Universe .
The 36 year old Japanese wrestler has performed a lot out on independent circuits claiming various titles and has been now a two time NXT Champion also . He is very famous among the fans of independent circuits and owing to his wide and vast experience may get him a spot at Wrestlemania main event and give a big push to him .
4. Luke Harper
Randy Orton segregated Luke Harper from the Wyatt Family and since then Luke Harper has turned on The Wyatt Family . Luke Harper was involved in a match against Randy Orton at Elimination Chamber and he attacked Bray Wyatt in the latest edition of Smackdown Live before the latter's match . All these incidents are hinting towards a possible Triple Threat Match between The Wyatt Family at Wrestlemania . What a fantastic match it would be ?
Luke Harper is an excellent and very agile for the man of his stature . WWE Universe has not been completely able to asses Harper as he had always remained in the shadow of Bray Wyatt . This will be a fantastic storyline and may be , we witness this amazing match .
5. AJ Styles
AJ Styles demanded his rematch post Smackdown Live show at Smackdown Interview show for WWE Championship against Bray Wyatt . AJ Styles is a formidable wrestler and has been the face of TNA . In his one year span in WWE , he has won WWE Championship belt and has given some of the amazing matches becoming the fan favourite . Last night at Smackdown Live , he got maximum cheer from the crowd for his demand for the title match .
AJ Styles has the potential to become the face of WWE and it is necessary too as John Cena will become a part timer in near future . This is the best opportunity for WWE by giving him chance to main event at Wrestlemania .
