WWE RAW Results , Review and Analysis .
WWE Monday Raw of this and the following weeks would clearly be used by WWE to build matches for Wrestlemania 33 . Here are the results , reviews and analysis of this Monday Night Raw held at Las Vegas .
1. Stephanie MacMohan segment .
Stephanie addressed the WWE Universe showing clear animosity which has been developed among her and Mick Foley which has developed over the past weeks and told WWE fans Mick was given week off . There arrives " The Big Dog " who demanded to fight Braun Strowman right then but denied by Stephanie who announced Mark Henry versus Strowman taking the crowd on their feet . Then entered Gallows and Anderson who challenged Roman Reigns for a handicap match which was made official by Stephanie . She also induced Teddy Long in WWE Hall of Fame of 2017 .
2. Luke Gallows and Carl Anderson vs Roman Reigns in a handicap match .
The brawl started even before the match began as Roman tried to gain control early . But as we returned from the commercial , Gallows have took control of the match only to be broken when he went shoulder first into the steel post . We went on to see some amazing some displays from both Roman like vicious clothesline and Superman punch to Gallows . Trying to finish off things with a spear , Roman fell short to numbers game as both Luke Gallows and Carl Anderson entered the ring and started beating Roman resulting in disqualification giving win to Roman Reigns .
To end things , Gallows and Anderson tried to go for a Magic Killer but Reigns countered first giving a suplex and then " Superman Punch " . Gallows entered with a chair but met with Big Boot from Reigns . The match was not boring . We got to see some amazing moves by Reigns . WWE used this match to built Roman as a powerful " Babyface " for Fastlane .
Review : 8 out of 10 .
Result : Roman Reigns wins .
3. BO Dallas vs Kofi Kingston .
The New Day arrived and as usual gave the most entertaining moments of the night . They insulted Bo Dalllas who was standing in the ring waiting for Kingston . The New Day introduced The Ice Cream Blue print to WWE Universe whom they claimed to have worked for over weeks .
Then , Kofi started of things with Dallas giving him a drop kick pushing him out of ring . The members of New Day started taunting Bo Dallas who in rage tore away their Blueprints to which New Day became mad and Kofi gave a high flying kick to Bo dalllas over the top rope outside the ring . As Kofi was tryinng to enter back ring , he received a kick to his chest from Bo Dallas . Bo Dallas then tried to show his dominance but failed to secure win .
Kofi finally claimed the win with a roll up . The most interesting and entertaining match of the night but lacked wrestling . The end was even more entertaining as the members of New Day forcibly put Bootyo's in the mouth of Bo Dallas .
Review : 8.5 out of 10 .
Result : Kofi Kingston beats Bo .
4. Jack Gallagher vs Naom Dar.
The number one contender for Cruiserweight Title match Jack Gallagher confronted Naom Dar . We all knew who was going to win and this match was used for giving required momentum to Gallagher. We witnessed an entertaining match with some excellent wrestling moves from Gallagher and claiming win at last with a running dropkick to Naom .
As the match ended Neville showed up teasing whom Gallagher was going to face for Cruiser weight Title . This match helped Jack being projected as babyface .
Review : 8.5 out of 10 .
Result : Jack Gallagher wins by pinfall .
5. Braun Strowman vs Mark Henry .
Did we really need to watch that match to know who will win ? It was pretty much clear from the beginning that Braun will claim the win to keep his momentum going for the match against Reigns at Fastlane . The match started with as usual head lock between two giants followed by blows from Braun . Then came a vicious clothesline which sent Henry rolling on the floor .Braun showed dominance in whole match until Mark tried for his finisher which was countered by Braun and he finished things with a powerslam to Henry .
As the match concluded , Reigns came out attacking Strowman to get more heat in their feud for Fastlane . He went for 3 superman punches and tried to go for a spear but was countered and himself received a power slam from Strowman projecting Braun Strowman as heel .
Review : 7.5 out of 10 .
Result : Braun Strowman beat Mark Henry .
6. Rusev vs Sami Zyan
Rusev showed dominance as expected in the start of match with couple of head locks and elbow locks . Zayn made a comeback with a suicide dive over the top rope to Rusev . Rusev gave an explosive kick to Sami driving him out of ring and got control of match . Sami tried for a dive from top turnbuckle but misses and received a kick in his neck but some how survived the count out .
Zayn later made a comeback by dodging Rusev's move and sending him outside ring over top rope and when Rusev was returning back into the ring received a Houloveur Kick from Sami and Sami claimed thw win . WWE is trying to push Sami over past weeks and this win combined with post match attack by Samoa Joe helped to his Baby face outlook .
WWE here has planted the seeds of rivalry between Joe and Sami and there are strong of their confrontation at Fastlane .
Review : 8 out of 10 .
Result : Sami Zayn wins .
7. Festival of Friendship .
Jericho made a fascinating entry in ring with Kevin Owens . Jericho welcomed everyone to festival of friendship Chris then offered an art of Jericho to Owens made by Ralph . Following that , Jericho offered a painting to Owens named creation of Owens . Kevin Owens was all struck in amaze and showed signs of irritation what Chris was doing . Then happened some more insane things like magician coming in who later made to list of Jericho and then came " The Gillberg " who was beaten by KO .
Kevin Owens grew furious at Chris Jericho . Then , he told Jericho that he had also bought a present for him . First of all , it seemed as new list for Jericho but on final look we saw on it written list of KO with first name of Jericho . What we saw next was just not believable . What has been rumoured for weeks , finally came true and Owens turned on Jericho . Then followed nice beating with a powerbomb to Jericho and crash into the LCD in the ring .
Finally , it is now for sure we will go to see Owens versus Jericho at Wrestlemania 33 .
8. Enzo Amore (with Big Cass ) vs Cesaro (with Sheamus) .
Cesaro showed of his brute strength tossing Enzo in the ring and giving him a back breaker . Then followed a chain of upper cuts to Enzo until he countered with a flying DDT . But Cesaro recovered and ended things with a flying upper cut and claimed the win . Things get heated up between Sheamus and Big Cass but were stopped by Cesaro .
Review : 7 out of 10 .
Result : Cesaro wins the match .
10. Charolette vs Bayley for WWE Raw Women's Title .
A very long match involving the two most decorated wrestlers from Women's Division was main eventing Monday Night Raw . The match had high expectations and it fulfilled them stealing the show at end . Charolette tried different moves as the match proceeded and showed dominance over Bayley . Bayley later gave Charolette taste of her own medicine by driving her head in the turnbuckle .
Charolette later again gained the control of match and put on some excellent wrestling skills . The crowd was totally amused by the wrestlers as the match flip floped between Bayley and Charolette again and again . Charolette went over the top rope to finish things of but was caught by Bayley who delivered arch rival but failed to get win . Then , Bayley got distracted by Dana Broke but Charolette failed to capitalise and received " Figure Four " from Bayley . Charolette was saved by interference from Broke and gave back " Figure Four " to Bayley but was interrupted by Sasha Banks . Bayley then gave belly to belly move to Charolette and we got our new champion , Bayley .
Review : 9.5 out of 10 .
Result : Bayley walks out as new Women's Champion .
